FGROUPS

Description

List groups that friend(s) are members of

Parameters

 1 (optional) flist Friend List.

See the syntax page and the parameter defaults page for information on setting your default parameters.

Output

For each friend, the name of the groups they are a member of

Notes

  • This command will not show you who is in a group, but rather what groups your friend(s) are in.
  • To see who is in a group, you can specify the group as the FLIST parameter for the FRIENDS command.  For Example:
    fbcmd FRIENDS "~Groupname"
    Will display all the people in that group.

Examples

List all of my groups:
fbcmd FGROUPS =me

List all of my groups but don't show the Group ID:
fbcmd FGROUPS =me -gid=0

List all of Bob's groups:
fbcmd FGROUPS "Bob Smith"
